Purpose of processing
Your personal data will be used for the purpose for which it was provided, based on the user's service contract, as well as for controlling the established contractual relationship and, specifically for:
- Managing access and correct use of the services by users, as well as tracking their requests.
- Managing the processing of services with the entities responsible for issuing certificates, such as Civil Registries, Justice of the Peace Courts, Town Halls, managers of the certification process, and shipping/logistics companies for document delivery.
- Carrying out invoicing and accounting related to requests and contracted services.
- Communicating with users in response to incidents, requests, comments, and questions made through the Services or our website's contact forms.
- Communications: We may send you emails, messages, and other types of communication regarding the contracted service, technical matters, and changes to the services. These communications are considered part of the services and cannot be opted out of.
We will not process your personal data for any unsolicited advertising services or transfer it to third parties unless strictly necessary for the execution of the contracted service, nor will it have any other purpose beyond those described above unless required by law or court order.
Retention period: The personal data provided will be retained and processed as long as the service provision relationship is maintained, notwithstanding the possibility of exercising your right to erasure, in which case registrocivilcentral.es will block your data while legal obligations persist.
The personal data of those interested in receiving information about the services will be retained in the system indefinitely unless the data subject requests its deletion.
Legitimacy of processing
The legal basis for data processing is the legitimacy based on the consent of the data subject provided for the purposes described above, which will be requested at the time of service contracting, and their acknowledgment of data processing and management conditions must be expressly indicated.
Information requests sent to us require that the data subject voluntarily provides the necessary data to respond or provide Services. The necessity of providing this data will be indicated with an asterisk (*) in the relevant forms or sections for each service.
However, the data subject may freely refuse to provide this data or subsequently withdraw previously given consent to process their data, although this refusal will prevent us from responding to their request or providing the requested service.
registrocivilcentral.es understands that by providing this data, the data subject guarantees and is responsible for its truthfulness, accuracy, and currency, and expressly accepts and consents to its processing for the aforementioned purposes.
Recipients of transfers or disclosures
Generally, registrocivilcentral.es will not transfer your personal data to third parties unless we are legally obligated to do so, or it is strictly necessary for the effective execution of the contracted service order or services that you have expressly authorised us for in written communications.
In this respect, we inform you that for the provision of services, it will be necessary to transfer your data to personnel in charge of managing our services both within RegistoCivil.es and in entities under the Ministry of Justice (Civil Registries, Justice of the Peace Courts, Town Halls, and/or related entities).
Similarly, for the completion of the contracted service, data transfer to our partner courier and logistics companies will be necessary, in which case only the necessary personal data for delivering the requested documentation will be shared.
By accepting the Management Conditions, you expressly consent to these transfers. In case of withdrawal of consent, we will not be able to continue providing the Services.
Rights of data subjects.
Any person has the right to obtain confirmation about whether registrocivilcentral.es is processing personal data concerning them. In particular, you may exercise the following rights with registrocivilcentral.es:
- Right of access: allows the data subject to know and obtain information about their personal data subject to processing.
- Right to rectification: allows the correction of errors, modification of data found to be inaccurate or incomplete, and ensures the accuracy of the information subject to processing.

Additional information
Retention of certain data: SCIP informs that, in compliance with the provisions of Law 25/2007, of 18 October, on the retention of data relating to electronic communications and public communications networks, it must retain and store certain traffic data generated during communications, to transfer them to the authorised authorities, when the legal circumstances established therein apply.
